Oh, It’s a Kamikaze world, it’s going fast downhill
I know we need a doctor, but who will fit the bill?
It’s a Kamikaze world, there’s not much hope, but still
Jesus can save the world, If we live in His will

Hopeless lives with no purpose drift into meaningless vacuum
Famines rage, society dies, all kinds of plagues consume
“Man is but a speck” in the great evolution chain,
Sits alongside dolphins & apes in Darwin’s Hall of Fame
Why should we feel loved? We’re not worth a thing!
Governments belittle us, red tape is the King!

Oh, It’s a Kamikaze world, it’s going fast downhill
I know we need a doctor, but who will fit the bill?
It’s a Kamikaze world, there’s not much hope, but still
Jesus can save the world, If we live in His will

Nine to Five we work, every lonely day of the week
“Keep your head above the water” — No survival for the weak
Gotta keep fighting, gotta win this devil’s rat race
If you “turn the other cheek”, they’ll kick you in the face
Why should we feel chosen? No one knows who we are!
Capitalist pigs don’t care, just buy another car

Oh, It’s a Kamikaze world, it’s going fast downhill
I know we need a doctor, but who will fit the bill?
It’s a Kamikaze world, there’s not much hope, but still
Jesus can save the world, If we live in His will

“Soak up the alcohol to ease all your pain
just flush your brain cells right down the drain
Pump some more hydrocarbons into the air
Wear sun screen during the solar flare
Cholesterol is for the nincompoops who like to die
Don’t hang your head, you’ll get cancer if you cry
Sin on every corner, religion on the down
Clearly we see on God’s face... a frown”

Oh, It’s a Kamikaze world, it’s going fast downhill
I know we need a doctor, but who will fit the bill?
It’s a Kamikaze world, there’s not much hope, but still
Jesus can save the world, If we live in His will

In a dark, dusty room, hidden from the rest of the world
Some kids open the Bible, the American flag is unfurled
While no one knows their names
every one of them prays
And God is moved to say:

“I can save this old world, if it’s going down the hill
If you need a doctor, I can surely fit the bill
I can save this whole world, there’s not much hope, but still
Yes, I can save this world, If you live in my will”
