Sweet peace rains on me like spring showers in the summer
Joy beyond all measure is a cool breeze in the heat of the day
The love i feel is a warm fireplace in the winter’s cold
Why am i so filled with this goodness?
I know i shouldn’t question the brightness of my life today
Thank you, God, for this mile-wide smile that fills my face
Sweet harmonies roll through my mind; sing me to sleep
Lord, sweet Lord, i pray you my soul to keep
And hers

The music of Heaven is to me overwhelming, a rushing current
choirs of angels, heavenly hosts, carry me away with melody
The love i feel is music to my heart; warms the icy walls
The bright lights of Heaven’s grace
Give me answers to the questions of my life today
Thank you, God, for this mile-wide smile that fills my heart
Sweet harmonies sweep over me in waves; wash me clean
Lord, sweet Lord, i pray you heaven to bring
To us.
