Who Brings Them?

Two separate lives, revolving around each other;
Circling like opponents, not sure whether to come closer.
Pain from the past and fear of the future haunts one,
While the other is paralyzed by fear of the unknown.
Struggling to sculpture sense from strange situations
Both wanting the best for the other
Tired of superficiality, Hoping for stability, security.
Unsure of their choice of words,
Wavering between reluctance for redundancy and
Shaky silence
Different enough to possess an inability to empathize
Attracted enough to try.
One trusts the other, who doesn’t even trust himself
Both trust the God who brings them together.
