2000 CE was my most prolific poetry year; I wrote 221 poems in 2000.
That’s more than any other TWO years combined (only 1990 + 2001 would come close). My
least productive month — August, with only nine — still saw more poems than several
other years on my chart.
So it’s no stretch that my journal refers to 2000 as “The Year Of The Poem’.
