Air & Water

The wise man wonders
Is the glass half full or half empty?
But what about the full glass?
Is it full of water?
Or empty of air?
And which is more important?
Perhaps the halfway glass is better
More balanced
The water is my mind
The air is my soul
Two legs that support a man
You can hop on one foot for some time
Live flowing in the wind
Swimming in rivers of the soul
Or trapped in the halls of the mind
Calculating, reminiscing
But can you really separate the two?
Even while hopping one-footed
    the second leg provides balance
What do you think about when you’re thirsty?

No glass is empty. It’s either full of air, or full of liquird, or full of a combination thereof. Unless it’s in outer space.
