You would think that after all these years
It would be easier
To do
What it is that you do
But
The TRUTH is
Each day, the burden gets heavier
The ride rougher
ENTROPY
Infiltrating everything
Wearing it all down
And somewhere, some time,
The bearings will freeze
And the ride will come to an end

They say “Do the best you can”
“Hard work is its own reward”
Not even in my dreams

Why is the world so exciting for some
And so gloomy for others?

“When you wanna hold somebody,
you gotta hold ‘em like it’s the last minute of
    your life.”                     — -Janis Joplin
