Drink frosty drinks, smoke savory cigars
Wake up later, and wonder where you are
Snort white powder, stay up all night
Loving strange women, Darkness enhances sight
Until you can’t go on
And you turn off all the songs
Get in bed alone and close your wasted eyes
Knowing that after only 12 hours, you won’t rise
Aching, groaning, praying moaning, and sleeping
Looking for a cliff from which you will be leaping
Until you can’t go on
And you turn off all the songs
Dream restful dreams, and sleep deepest sleep
Shoot your freakin’ neighbor, if’n he makes a peep
Unplug your phone, turn off the TV
Recovering your energy like honey makin’ a bee
Until you can go on
And you can start the songs
