Drip, drop, drip, drop
Please, don’t let it stop
The gauge is overflowing
But the rain isn’t slowing
Just try to stay on top

Drizzle, drizzle
Don’t let it fizzle
The ground is getting soggy
The sky is staying foggy
Drizzle, drizzle

Oh God, I pray
Wash us all away

In February of 2001, I added another stanza, now a separate poem called (Addition to “Wash Us All Away”).
