Ho-down in the mini-mart
Pack up every ration
Groceries inside your cart
Getting gas at the station
Wye-Too-Kay, yes, it’s coming
That’s what everyone said
You’d better get all ready
Or you’ll surely end up dead
Then it came and went, oh yes
And life went on as always
We’ll talk about it, won’t we
For all the rest of our days

For those who weren't around or don't remember, "Y2K" was a big deal in late 1999. As I understand it, computer experts thought anything electronic would go haywire when the calandar switched from '99 to '00. Some thought it would be the 'end of the world as we know it'. Personally, I kind of hoped something big would go wrong. But nothing did.
