Lonely Whole

The words spilled forth
Onto blankened page
Empty of wisdom
Dead is the sage
As he slips backward
He becomes an affront
Forgetting his honesty
Burning his blunt
Drinking down the spirits
To bury his holy soul
He falls all to pieces
Deep in the lonely whole
