We want what you want
The slippery voices said
Ringing like dinging bells
Around inside my head

It won't take but a minute
The delicious voices lied
Chipping away at all the
Pride I kept inside

Your wishes are very
Important to us now
I heard as I bent down
Below and under now

Don't worry about a thing
Is what I heard that day
The day that everything I
Ever loved was blasted away

Don't count me out, just
Count me outnumbered and
Don't worry about anything that
You can count on your hand

Everything is better now
A soothing voice called
Now that you are kept,
Captured and walled

Separating insanity
From every spoken lie
Is a simple matter of knowing
That pig-monkeys can fly

One truth, I remember told
"It's better off left alone."
Rejecting that advice, I
Matured into a stone.
